FLED GROUP AFRICA
Strategic Vision Framework (2026–2035)
“Building Africa’s Inclusive Leadership Future”
FLED Group Africa (FGA) is a family of social enterprise organizations devoted to building people, institutions, and ideas that drive sustainable human development across the continent.
As FLED Group Africa enters the 4th decade of operations, we stand at a defining crossroads — moving from a legacy of leadership development to a decade of continental influence and institutional sustainability. In the next ten years (2026–2035), we will focus on deepening our impact, expanding our reach, and achieving financial independence to secure our mission against vicissitudes.
Founded as a family of social organizations, FLED Group Africa has consistently promoted ethical leadership, civic responsibility, and enterprise-driven empowerment. We envision to become Africa’s foremost institutional ecosystem for raising ethical, visionary, and economically stable leaders who will shape governance, enterprise, and social transformation across the continent.
The mission is clear:
To nurture, connect, and empower a new generation of African leaders through education, mentoring, research, and enterprise — equipping them with the moral vision and economic competence to lead with integrity and sustainable prosperity.
To achieve this, the Framework is anchored on six thematic pillars:
- Leadership Education– Transformational learning through FLED International Leadership Institute and Future World Magazine.
- Governance & Public Ethics– Growing a continent-wide membership of ethical governance practitioners through the Africa Centre for Public Leadership (ACPL).
- Economic Leadership– Empowering individuals and communities toward financial independence through the FLED Multipurpose Cooperative Ltd.
- Research & Thought Leadership– Advancing the Fledism Leadership Philosophy as Africa’s indigenous leadership model.
- Women & Youth Empowerment– Ensuring youth leadership development and gender inclusion in leadership through Foundation for Leadership & Education Development.
- Institutional Sustainability– Achieving 70% self-funding through the FLED Endowment and Enterprise Fund (FEEF).
The Vision 2035 target is to train 10,000 leaders across Africa, establish presence in at least 10 countries, and be recognized among Africa’s top five leadership and governance institutions. The Framework unfolds in three phases:
- 2026–2028:Repositioning & Expansion
- 2029–2031:Consolidation & Influence
- 2032–2035:Legacy & Global Recognition
This journey will be driven by strong partnerships with African and global institutions, robust digital platforms, and a renewed storytelling strategy to make “The FLED Brand” visible across the continent and beyond.
By 2035, FLED Group Africa aims to stand as a self-sustaining continental movement of Fledists — ethical leaders with empathy, integrity, and enterprise — transforming Africa’s leadership future through knowledge, innovation, and service.
