Celebrating 30 years of Impact
We bring you warm greetings from the Fled Group Africa. We are delighted to announce that 2025 marks our 30 years of operations as a group of human development organizations.
We recall with a sweet sense of nostalgia Foundation for Leadership & Education Development – FLED – was formally inaugurated born on Monday April 17, 1995 in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
FLED started off as an NGO committed to building the leadership and entrepreneurial capacity of young people and students to prepare them for independent life and enable participate in development processes. Over the years, we have grown and branched out into other organizations that today make up the Fled Group Africa – FGA. The other two significant organizations within the groups are :
Fled International Leadership Institute – a graduate leadership institution established in 1999 to train an transformational public leaders in Africa.
Africa Centre for Public Leadership – ACPL – a professional membership organization established in 2022 as part of broader Initiatives to professionalize leadership development in Africa.
These three make up the Fled Ecosystem. As a group, we organize different leadership courses and programs in Nigeria and around Africa.
To mark this anniversary, we have a number of activities throughout the years. We shall be providing you details in the coming weeks.
